Rotor Communications invented a proprietary interactive broadcast technology on the bleeding edge and were red hot to roll it out for investors and media partners.
I was hired as Art Director and UI Designer to create pitches of the new software.
No one had seen anything like it, so it was up to the art department to very quickly comp together what the Rotor Player would look with real content.
Over the course of a few months I generated dozens of RotorCast UIs, showcasing flagship media brands and content in believable and highly aesthetic context, all within rigid software templates and strict technical constraints.
The RotorCast Software was capable of integrating live broadcast with taped content, Flash animation, interactive user polls and chat, and most importantly — web sales of merchandise related to show content.
